Million Air Austin FBO
This new Fixed Base Operator (FBO) is located on the south end of the east runway at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) on 19+ acres. It is a full-service, privately run FBO (with Million Air as the operator), competing with the adjacent Signature Flight Services & Atlantic Aviation. The FBO Terminal Building provides 15,000 SF of operations and welcome services with a large cantilevered shade structure to keep aircraft out of the Texas heat. Eight private hangars, totaling 125,000 SF of enclosed aircraft parking, are also provided. Refueling and an onsite concierge round out the operations at this facility.
The interior was designed with pilots and passengers in mind, creating spaces where they can rest, work, or socialize across the building. Rooms include two separate conference rooms, a theater, a living space, and two separate bars. The pilot’s lounge allows crews to have a place of quiet before their trips as well. With a color palette of rich reds, blacks, and greys, the space feels sophisticated and modern. Accents of leather and brownish oranges communicate a rustic Texas aesthetic.
