Avis Budget Group Repair Facility

This project consisted of the design of a car maintenance facility in central Ohio, including ~3,500 SF of office space and ~10,500 SF of automotive maintenance space. The building was designed to act as a prototypical design for future similar facility designs in Ohio and other states. This was a pre-engineered metal building that included a wash bay, as well as eight (8) vehicle lifts in the maintenance area. Separate from the main building, a fuel island sits on the site.

The overall goal of this building differed from other Avis Budget Group buildings, as the sole focus was creating a site for the storage and maintenance of Avis Budget Group vehicles. The team took into consideration the mass volume of vehicles that would be entering and exiting the premises every day, and ensured an efficient traffic flow throughout the site. They also prioritized the quality of the office space to best serve the employees of Avis Budget Group and any visitors the site may have.
