GinTX Village

The Owners of this site desired to conceptual design a live-work artisans’ village in the heart of downtown Elgin, TX, utilizing the 3-acre historic cotton gin property. The gin building itself was designed to house the Center for Architectural Craft, with twenty-five new live-work units of sizes varying from 1,500 SF to 7,500 SF. Other amenities on the site include The Commons, The Monarch Butterfly Pavilion, Rainwater Collection Stations and Community Gardens.
