Julep Hangar
Located at the San Marcos Regional Airport, this project contains a private aircraft hangar, designed to inhabit the cross-section of functionality and aesthetics. Including 150 SF of lounge space, the inspiration for the hangars balanced Scandinavian and High-Tech architectural genres, to encapsulate the owner’s vision of mixing nature and machines. The long-term goal of the completed project is to potentially lease the space to corporate clients.
The interior design of the lounge, done by Marimoto Design, features dark colors, including deep blue hues and black hardware and accessories, to create a sleek and modern design, while adding accents of yellow and green throughout the space. With features including a kitchenette, washer/dryer, and seating area, this area creates the perfect balance of elevated relaxation, providing a comfortable space to inhabit while waiting for upcoming flights.
